IN CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Zetta
Canon: Makai Kingdom (Disgaea)
OU/AU/OC: OU
Canon Point: Immediately after the destruction of his Netherworld.
History: Zetta at the wiki.
Personality: Self-described Badass Freakin' Overlord Zetta is blustering, brash, bold, and blunt. Evil is in his job description (even if he doesn't really do too much of it). He's powerful and capable and he knows it. At his worst he's a tyrant, commanding his grovelling subjects according to his every whim, doing as he pleases, and generally being the most important thing in the multiverse.
He'd never admit it to himself, but he's not a terrible guy deep down inside. He doesn't do introspection or navel-gazing (he's not much for touchy-feely crap in general, though he's a master of the inner monologue) -- if something causes him to reconsider his choices or actions, he embraces his new course as if the old one had never existed. Whatever he does, he does whole-heartedly -- unless it's only worth a half-assed effort, of course.
Despite his overt embrace of evil, Zetta isn't really evil evil. Selfish, self-centered, and completely self-oblivious, certainly. But he gets along surprisingly well with his peers, beneath the casual insults and posturing that define life at the top of the power hierarchy, and in the face of true evil, such as a colleague actually having attempted to force himself on a woman, meet with instant disgust and reprisals. He talks a big game, and will even follow through on occasion, but the appearance of being evil is ultimately more important that the actuality. (Importantly, this mean that he can function in a game like this just fine! He'll yell, bluster, and do bad things if he's provoked, but it's less "slay them all" and more "push Fluttershy into a pond" evil.)
Strengths: Zetta is, literally, the strongest being in existence. He's level 2000. He has a mana power greater than any other beings, 'mana' being a relatively undefined statistic that appears to relate to how much innate power a creature has. His second-strongest attack is an eyebeam that atomizes the moon as an afterthought (although background damage never persists in Disgaea).
Beyond his direct strength, Zetta is capable of confining wandering souls and spirits to mundane items. This incarnates the spirit as an extension of his mana power, making them into semi-intelligent minions under his control. Zetta can summon these minions by Inviting him, which drops them onto the field for a period of time. If he owns buildings or vehicles, he can Invite them as well.
Zetta's innate power allows him to calculate his attacks using his highest stat instead of the attack's base stat -- so in practice, spells he casts rely on his massive strength stat instead of his comparatively less impressive intelligence stat, for example.
Weaknesses: Zetta is an idiot. He's easy to manipulate, trick, or confuse. He has poor temper control. He's not intellectually stupid; he's capable of tactical thinking and doesn't really suffer comprehension problems. It's a Wisdom deficit. He's completely out of touch with himself, denies his true feelings and puts up a furious show of pretense to make sure he comes off the way he wants to come off, instead of as who he actually is. Zetta is also subject to comic relief, which is a greater power in the Disgaea universe than any defense or statistic.
He doesn't have a lot of skill at the subtleties of magic, either; most of his ability is "grab power, unleash power at target".
Pony/Animal Type: Considering that even at 50% his power is still top-tier, I would like him to be an alicorn. (He's even got the canonical HAIR for it.) If further possible, his special area of influence would be Tartarus, which not only exists in Equestria but is in walking distance of Ponyville... If this isn't acceptable, unicorn is fine.
Cutie Mark: Blue hellish flames
Pony Picture:

I shouldn't need to point out which he is...
SAMPLES
First Person:
Hyaaa ha ha ha ha!
[The video image flares to life, revealing the Overpony, flaming mane streaming behind him and flaring off into bats, blank white eyes narrowed in wicked delight.]
I'm Zetta, the most badass freaking Overlord in the entire cosmos. And I want some answers! First, where's my freaking Netherworld? Second, where the hell am I? Third, what's with the horse stuff? Fifth, who's in charge here? Sixth, someone get me a sandwich.
[Abruptly, Zetta blinks, then frowns.]
Wait, I'm a pony now. Do we eat sandwiches? What's the diet here? I need some answers! Also, is anyone here an oracle? I need some consulting work done.
Third Person:
So, magic.
He had a horn now, apparently that's a thing. He'd always been more of a physical type, no real desire to wander around lobbing spells, but hey, magic came in pretty handy now that he was a pony. Like telekinesis. He could definitely get behind that.
"So let's see here," Zetta grumbled as he studied the scroll suspended in front of him in a violet glow that matched the one around his horn. "Hurling spell, huh? 'Guaranteed to remove messy obstructions from sight.' This seems like something I can weaponize."
Magically tossing the scroll aside, Zetta turned to face the rock, about flank high and round, that he'd selected as the target of his experiment. Now, as he understood this, rather than telekinesis, he was supposed to apply the magic directly and allow it to shape into the violent motive force the spell required. So, concentrating, he summoned magic around his horn, then directed it at the rock.
With a mighty THUMP that left a blast crater a few feet in diameter, the rock exploded upward. Straight up.
"Huh," Zetta said, looking up after it as it vanished into the sky. "I thought it was supposed to have an arc or something. Isn't that just going to end up right back here?"
Frowning, Zetta brought the scroll back over to study. It never occurred to him that the rock might hit someone, going up or coming back down...
